From How I Met Your Mother
You can’t talk yourself into falling in love. It doesn’t take days of deliberation. When it’s real, you know pretty quickly, and with absolute certainty. I had forgotten that, but I was about to be reminded.”

“Clarity is the elimination of mental clutter. Agility is the elimination of physical clutter. Tranquility is the elimination of spiritual clutter.”
Pablo Neruda (How I met Your Mother 4.21)
Just knowing you’re out there thinking about me,
caring about me,
makes me feel safe.
So all my fears, all my yesterdays, wash away
& only hope remains in the promise of your embrace.
You make me thank God for every mistake I ever made
Because each one led me down the path that brought me to you.
And when we finally come together I want you to hold me all night.
Stroke my hair, tell me I’m a woman & show me you’re a man.
Until there was only now, you & I, and now.
I do not ask of the night explanations, I wait for it, & it envelops me.
And so you and bread, and light, and shadow are.
I’ll be back when the wind & fates & chance bring me back
On Sterotypes
I am like my mother I stereotype it’s faster (dal film Up in the Sky)
“a boy makes a girl jealous of other women. A gentlemen makes other women jealous of his girl”
Life has no other discipline to impose, if we would but realize it, than to accept life unquestioningly. Everything we shut our eyes to, everything we run away from, everything we deny, denigrate or despise, serves to defeat us in the end. What seems nasty, painful, evil, can become a source of beauty, joy and strength, if faced with an open mind. every moment is a golden one for him who has the vision to recognize it as such (Henry Miller)

If I Could Live My Life Over Again By Jorge Luis Borges
If I could live my life again.
Next time, I would try to make more mistakes.
I would not try to be so perfect, I would relax more.
I would be sillier than I have been.
I would take fewer things seriously.
I would be less fastidious.
Accept more risks, I would take more trips,
Contemplate more evenings,
Climb more mountains, and swim more rivers…
I would go to more places where I have not been,
Eat more ice cream and fewer beans.
I would have more real problems and less imaginary ones.
I was one of those people who lived
sensibly and meticulously every minute of their life.
Of course I have had moments of happiness.
But if I could go back in time, I would try to
have good moments only,
and not waste precious time.
I was someone never went
anywhere without a thermometer, a
hot water bag, an umbrella
and a parachute. If I could live again,
I would travel more frivolously.
If I could live again, I would begin
to walk barefoot at the beginning of the spring
and I would continue to do so until the end of autumn.
I would ride more merry-go-rounds,
I would contemplate more evenings and I would play
with more children.
If I could have another life ahead.
But I am 85 years old you see, and I know that I am dying.
“If you never copy best practices, you’ll have to repeat all the mistakes yourself.
If you only copy best practices, you’ll always be one step behind the leaders.”
“If you absolutely can’t tolerate critics, then don’t do anything new or interesting.”— Jeff Bezos
“Instead of working toward retirement, work toward your ideal lifestyle. There is usually a path to get there in a few years instead of a few decades
In Italian
Fare una domanda comporta un minuto di imbarazzo, non farla una vita di ignoranza.
Non hai veramente capito qualcosa finche’ non sei in grado di spiegarlo a tua nonna” (Albert Einstein)
